Just with the flow of thoughts...

"Write down What do you want from life". When our teacher asked us to do this task it sounded amusing to me. Quite a simple question..atleast it sounds so, right? Each one had a different answer. Bottomline however was a Peaceful Life. How profound was the thought I wonder because each one had so many things to attain so as to be at peace mentally, physically and emotionally. One needs to complete his/ her worldly responsibilities and it takes a lifetime to do so yet no one is satisfied with your efforts. "We spend the whole time preparing for a bed only to know that when we are ready for bed , its already morning." Whoever said this was so right with what he said. But then why am I writing all this in my blog?

I was on chat with my friend. During which there was a discussion on "what a woman needs in life" as seen through a man's eyes. My friend was prompt with an answer which was "Love, Sex and Money". I couldnt stop myself from laughing. How meagre is the thought process in the mind of a man that he could never even think once before saying so. Is that all a Woman wants from a Man? Or is it the other way round? Is it that they are able to conclude so coz that's exactly what they want from the fairer sex. If I were to pen down my opinion I'd say ( and this is exactly what I told my friend too) ,"May be that's not what she wants but then there isnt anything else she gets so she contents herself wth wht she gets". I dont know how many would agree with this though. Every morning when she gets up, she desires to spend sometime with her beloved talking sweet little nothings but as life can have it for she is fidgetting with her daily chore. meanwhile the Husband leaves for office. Life becomes so monotonous for her that there comes a day when even both she and her beloved have all the time in the world still are left with nothing to talk about. The same two people who had loads of things to discuss during courtship time are now in thier own world having nothing in common to talk about.
Guruji says, "to live this moment, the present moment". Enjoy this moment. But the bigger question is How? May be by setting aside your desires and expectations and never ever looking back. My mom says "be contented with what you have"..perhaps that what each woman does. So that's why each woman "appears to be happy" coz she is living with what she has and not with what she wants.
Life Goes on.. Peaceful Life remains Utopian state of mind...
